Canada is split into DIVISIONS: B.C., Prairies, Ontario, Quebec and Atlantic. In Canada, each DIVISIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP is often known as the "PROVINCIALS". Large U.S. Regions are split into STATES, which are sometimes further split into SECTIONS. This explains why you may hear references to "SECTIONALS" and "STATES" in U.S. Tournament Play. We do not have SECTIONALS in Canada. |
